Going beyond verbal ridiculing of DOJ "lawyers" trying to argue for and defend the indefensible, a few contempt-of-court citations would be helpful in lessening courtroom time-wasting, surely. And, enough of any granting of "deference" to these clowns, they are bloody-minded adversaries of the rule of law, and should be treated accordingly in the first instance.

The Kirk case is indeed very off key for a number of reasons. I too of heard how the quality of DOJ advocates and advocacy has really plummeted, it displays great contempt for the judiciary. That's something the latter aren't going to take kindly to. Bondi better be careful trying to beard the judicial lion in its own den. I would love to attend the AJA conference in October. The break out sessions and round tables should be VERY interesting if not entertaining. Were I the national media I would send teams of reporters to cover it.

Thank you David. It's one thing to pardon those damn Jan. 6 criminals, but the thought that taxpayers owe them anything is beyond belief.

Why have I had to look at that AI mockup of tRump as Poop so many times this morning? Isn’t that exactly what tRump wants you to do? Sure, just be a good little trumpanzee and keep printing his fantasies so we can all be thrilled by them. Better to leave white space than promote this disgusting POS.

If there's a settlement between Ashli Babbitt's family involves the government paying her family, someone should point out to Donald Trump that he's being treated unfairly and getting ripped off.
