America, let’s make THIS THE WEEK that the Trump regime begins a humiliating unraveling. Call Republican House representatives and tell them that THEY MUST TURN AGAINST TRUMP when he REFUSES TO MEET WITH FAMILIES OF FALLEN SOLDIERS.
The NY Times tallied more than 30,000 lies from Trump in his first term, but there's one lie that he's completely incapable of telling. It will be his downfall:
"I offer my sincerest condolences for the loss of your son."
These are words he can never utter. MAGA would see through any attempt. He can't bring himself to show direct respect for those with more honor and courage than he can even fathom: members of our volunteer army.
He can and will never meet the eyes of parents of our fallen soldiers. That moment is his third rail, when absolute responsibility is undeniable. When he dodges that opportunity for living out the respect and honor that his office demands, it will be a bridge too far for MAGA.
And with that loss of the GOP base, maintaining lockstep support of Trump going forward will for most House Republicans mean going off the political cliff, lemmings for continued cowardice.
So in your calls to the offices of potential defectors, demand that they join the #ImmediateFlipMovement TODAY to declare as independent, fulfilling the patriotic duty within their oaths of office to caucus with Democrats. Only a #BlueHouseOversightRampage can stop the #TrumpMuskMillerVoughtProject2025BillionaireCabal from elbowing aside democracy for kleptocratic #RepubloFascism.
Tell them that this is the moment to rebrand as #ConstitutionalConservatives, taking the high road citing Trump’s violations of either of those concepts. And they will heroes when they yank away Johnson’s gavel and hand it to those willing to use its power.
They should do it this week as the House takes up enforcing the War Powers Act. Many have secretly been waiting for the proper pivot point. The snubbing of newly minted Gold Star Families is a tactical choice for that last straw.
Let us pray that this is how and when #HumptyTrumpty has his great fall.
Maybe as he plummets towards our barbed wire nest at the bottom, he'll choose in midair to flee to Hungary with as many of his emoluments spoils as he can scoop up.
