As a minor footnote to all the other, much more important news here, a thank you to TPM for maintaining the important distinction between Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral.
The investigations in other countries based on the Epstein files shows that what those files reveal is a much broader form of corruption than just pedophilia and its coverup. I'm guessing that this kind of corruption (perhaps tied to blackmail by Epstein due to the pedophilia part) is what trump fears. But he needn't worry, really. In the US we don't seem to care much about ordinary corruption by the Epstein Class; rather, we celebrate it. MAGA clearly stands for Make American Grift Abundantly.
One wonders that if King Chuck didn't strip Andrew M-W of his princely titles whether the coppers would have moved on him, as we saw yesterday. Would he have enjoyed some degree of "sovereign immunity" as a member of the Royal Household "in good standing"? Certainly trump himself clearly profits from our version of sovereign immunity, and will do so unto his dying day...which can't come soon enough.
