We (lapsed) Catholics would call the “small cup of holy water” on the wall of Ed Martin’s office a font. You dip your fingers into it and cross yourself. Whatever, in this context it’s a sign of Martin’s empty and malignant piety.
Whoever gets into the Oval Office on any given day with a particular agenda to sell to tRump gets the win, as to manipulate and cajole an embarrassingly senile, uncomprehending and checked-out "president" is now mere child's play, literally and figurative. The latest: Marco Rubio, whispering into tRump's "good" — LOL! — ear to please announce the Gaza "peace deal" on his SM account, so that he, tRump, gets the credit first.
tRump: "Peace deal", no shit, that happened? Was I told about it?"
By and by, Trump is a bully of modest intelligence—well, worse actually. But what I’m getting to is that to the degree that it seems that he’s more than that is a decades-long failure of essentially all the mainstream media to report on him accurately, more so during forty-odd years they were free to do so before he was elected, obviously less so now but nonetheless still possible.
And then, for example, we get the infantile bullying of enemies, more specifically the proceedings against Comey, James et al.: Wholly meritless cases to get back at people he doesn’t like. But here’s where the moronic insanity comes in in no particular order:
As everyone in the litigation racket should recognize, all these cases are crap. (Bolton’s is karmically justified but the irony of the charges in view of the grossly mishandled (by both the Biden DOJ and media reporting) is…)
Which is to say they’re assuredly headed to acquittal. So but for paying lawyer’s fees (if any), there is or should be minimal stress for the pro. You do what a party needs to do and ride it out.
And when the case is disposed of you bring a civil suit and settle for or be awarded your legal fees.
Not at all the stresses of one of the little people busted for possession of a J and likely to face some hard time.
But again, we’re talking the equivalent of a five year playing with a loaded gun, more specifically one with a thirty round magazine. And one likely smart enough not to point it at himself. Probably.
Just had a thoughts; the Roberts junta is maybe doing less long term harm to the nation than the national Democratic Party. Maybe I’ll elaborate someday…

Out of curiosity, why were Trump’s hands so close to Pam Bondi’s wedding ring that he could have been cut by it?
