Really, there’s no benefit to gaming out why this administration does a lot of what it does, specially, but not only, in the Caribbean.

This is a return to the "bad CIA" of the '50s-'80s, operating in Central and South America in support of right-wing dictatorships and their death squads in opposing "communism". Now, it's Nixon's "war on drugs" redux, complete with unmarked aircraft, "gringos" bearing paramilitary kit, and "coöperative" governments...gaaah!
As for Tricky Dick’s War on Drugs, it was primarily an exercise in racial control.
The tell how little warring on drugs there was. Nothing to speak of for dealing with addiction and drug demand. Much over criminalization and incarceration. Whatever the spooks did was secondary.
Can the Board be found in contempt—eventually? Because they certainly are expressing contempt for both the statute creating the Kennedy Center and the courts previous ruling about removing the other guy’s name
