I have no idea what they can legally prove through this. By seizing these records, they've broken the chain of custody, and everything they took must now be considered to be legally contaminated and inadmissible in any court of law. I have no doubt they'll trumpet having found amazing corruption and fraud, repeatedly (as is Trump's way), aiming at the court of public opinion rather than the law, and hoping that by doing so they can legitimize trying to take over the midterms.

You're right, and it's exceedingly unlikely that any alleged "crimes" will ever be adjudicated in a court of law...trump and Bondi will continue to pound on the "rigged election" charges centering on Fulton County by massaging "leaks" from everything seized that could even hint at irregularities, though not proven.
They're totally unable to see how their actions look to outsiders. The mug shots, showing a courageous protester next to a cowardly ICE goon hiding his/her face, won't be taken in the spirit they were intended.

But the main purpose is to terrify Fulton County voters who might have an outstanding ticket or some other minor offense. They are trying to intimidate people from voting in 2026!
