It's hard to "like" such a clear and cogent analysis of the times we are living in. Your service to this experiment in self-governance is so important. Thank you!

What an absolute shit show. There is NOTHING about our country and our constitution that MAGA wants to save. And the enablers and chicken shits, high and low, across the board are to blame.

Unfortunately, so are we - for not being as involved 30 years ago as we are now, when such opposition would have stopped them in their tracks.

What is truly shocking is that there is nobody or no institution within the military raising the issue of the rank pillaging of the UCMJ by tRump and Kegsbreath, where actual crimes are being committed on the open seas by US military assets. There are *orders*, and there are *unlawful orders*, and deliberately and lethally targeting foreign non-combatants in boats clearly is murder, any way you slice it.

A day will come when these actions will be called by their true name, and people will pay.

it is NOT law and order. It is dominion/domination, control, punishing others with impunity. And it is i-n-s-a-t-i-a-b-l-e. The available avenues: rise up, OR leave, OR face unlimited cruelty.

I think you are right. The sadistic lust for cruelty is insatiable.

Sinclair and Nexstar are merely the biggest players of a game the left didn't even realize was being played - the purchase of all local media by the Far Right. Even if the networks were bastions of liberals who fight to the last ditch, the fact their shows can be turned off on a moment's notice by those allied with the fascist movement means such resistance would fail. Like everything else the Right has accomplished in the past 50 years that has led to this moment, it happened because Lib'ruls had themselves convinced that "It *can't* happen *here*!!"

This morning I emailed robert.iger@disney.com

Shame on ABC and Disney for capitulating to authoritarians. You are contributing to the EROSION OF FREE SPEECH.

You still have time to remedy this.

Please take the time to contact robert.iger@disney.com and anyone else at Disney or ABC etc and tell them what you think.

We need to start organized boycotting of these companies. The only thing they care about is their bottom line.

I read somewhere in the comments yesterday that ESPN is the real moneymaker for Disney and that we should all drop it from our cable subscription

trump may "declare" AntiFa as a "domestic terrorist organization" but there actually is a definition of what a domestic terrorist IS under 18 U.S. Code § 2331 (5). It requires that one of three criteria be met to be a domestic terrorist: someone who does an acts "dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State"

AND

(B) appear to be intended—

(i)to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;

(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or

(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping

Not word one about advocating for anything.

The first two criteria seem to apply to the FCC leaning on Disney over Jimmy Kimmel, though of course that wasn't "dangerous to human life." But the intents are there.

The writing has always been on the wall. Trump has one blunt tool, his friends are fellow grifters, his way of doing business is unethical at best, his allegiance is to himself, power, money, and adulation for him. Why has anyone been fooled into thinking it would be any different? Their anger, hatred, greed overpowered their morals and values if they had any. For all those who got fooled, I hope they are doing some serious self reflection. We are not sustainable without respect and care for our planet and one another.

did not listen to his show, but he is known to have a Big mouth. is it to get a reaction or to get more audience to listen to him. if his show is agenda to create or give people ideas of violence thats like teaching children to go out and rob/steal/ and beat up or even kill is ok. the ruling to hold media responsible of lies were rescinded back in the Obama days. which means give the media without accountable to lie. Does he really do his research. ?
