So since I saw the CNN chyron this morning that NATO will be “very sorry” if they don’t help Donny out with Iran, I’ve been going dizzy wondering…
In no particular order:
We’ve got two out nine aircraft carrier groups in the area with a third en route. We literally have a couple dozen bases encircling Iran. Now NATO nations are to do what to help?
Meanwhile, Europe should be getting distance from the US, not becoming more entangled. So that’s one reason to, well, let Donny twist slowly in the wind here. The second related reason is that if they help him, there will be no gratitude because he shows approximately no one gratitude. And the ones to whom he does show gratitude is just the same kind of garbage he is or worse.
Speaking of no gratitude: We stopped providing *any* aid to Ukraine last year. Meanwhile, they’re offering half, presumably in expectation of more abuse and back stabbing from Trump.
And to think we freely chose to return him to power…
trump wants other peoples' naval assets to take the pounding, and then and only then will he "unleash" the USN...as with trump, it's ALWAYS "other peoples' [ fill in the blank] .

I believe the 1st Amendment protects the press. Trump's lost a few law suits to different press groups. Carr can try, but the courts will fall on him

As for "demanding" NATO come to his aid in sending war ships to open Hormuz, I read some interesting comments from different countries, that this war wasn't declared by our congress and taken through the usual channels, so sorry, no war ships. Ukraine has offered anti Saheed drone help they have become quite expert at, but Trump turned them down. And other than private US citizens donations to Ukraine, our government has not spent 1 penny to help Ukraine since last year.
