Thanks for your coverage and analysis. What I am wondering about is will Bondi be disbarred? What further consequences can there be for her malpractice and lying? I want to live long enough to see justice done.
🔥Artemis II Nat Geo clip🔥 perfection ⚡️☄️⚡️💥⚡️✨⚡️ NASA flights were “a dime a dozen” in my childhood — and were taken for granted. I wonder how media, government and nation respond to this new phase. As always, ✨Kudos ✨on curated news 🎯🎯🎯
So, the tainted OLC has decreed that the Presidential Records Act is "unconstitutional", and trump therefore has no case to answer for re: stolen documents. The OLC is making a *judicial* decision here, an act reserved to the federal courts, and NOT an office within the DOJ. The OLC gives only *legal* advice, based on existing statutes, when issuing an opinion on an action by the Executive; it is NOT empowered to assess the *constitutionality* of ANY law on the books affecting a president's prospective or retrospective actions, FFS!
A new low, by this DOJ, FWIW, which is saying not much regarding this regime.
Got tired of pissing in the wind on my social platform of choice, now maybe getting likewise everywhere.
Another day, and things are a notch more insane still with essentially no one with any power or agency incited let's say to do anything other than providing lip service.
Trump, as Dr Lee, makes beyond explicit, is insane. (I paraphrase but only somewhat.)
And that trickles down, as it were, to the pieces of shit with which he's surrounded himself.
All he wants to do as POTUS, in no particular order, is be on TV, act like an impulsive out-of-control infant (the beyond-toxic narcissism there) and personally profit as much as possible from being in office.
To extrapolate from Dr Lee, all that was visible enough by 2024 and way too many voters failed or chose not to see it.
And his high level appointees are little better than that.
Many, if not all, are as insane as Trump. Many, if not all, are too venal to let any of their flaws keep them from serving in office where they're willing if not happy to enshittify the nation. Because doing that will bring them success and what else matters? Acting responsibly?
And back to those with any power being cool with this all.
Politically, suffice to the national Democrats, as I keep ranting and the record since Bill Clinton makes absolutely pellucid, is an alt-Republican party far too aligned with the GOP to do anything like what's needed if it's ever returned to power. See, the 2021-22 Congress. Somewhat more crumbs than maybe expected, mostly short term, nothing lasting. If and when they return to power, there'll be magnitudes more to address which is to say ignore.
Or put more simply: One sees what a profound failure of an opposition party they are now when, theoretically, it's extremely easy if that's what they want to do. Certainly, the majority of voters are to the left of the national Democrats or, at the least, in far greater opposition of the party. Obviously, the party doesn't want to oppose the Republicans anywhere as much as voters do.
And, as inferred above, that irresponsible rot, that insanity extends to the private sector leadership:
Those are the private sector leaders regularly promoted by the same establishment media failing the nation for almost fifty years now. (Think of a major issue and their reporting has been lies.)
And while I'm spewing all the negativity or, more specifically fat-based reality, I can't think of a single nation that's found itself captured by regressive leadership that was able to reverse things without a leadership class interested in and committed to the same.
And our leadership class is perfectly content, if not happy, with everything that periodically sends us into the street.
Sorry for the bleakness, on a holiday, but that's reality.
Sci-Fi buff here. As I was watching the Artemis blast away from Earth, I couldn't help but think of all the series I've read set far in the future, when humans have left the Earth for other planets. Reasons for leaving were many: destruction of the environment, political persecution, endless, dangerous wars. Sound familiar ? Someone needs to invent Faster than Light travel.
With respect to MM and AW, it d-o-e-s make a difference at each appointment or firing. Not enough to save any of us, but a difference nevertheless. Wouldn't we rather be tasked with 'out-thinking' an incompetent/stupid appointee rather than a very capable/bright sadist? If the response is 'no', then why resist at all?

Thank you for your work.
You are one of my first reads every day.
Thanks as always for your clear information

Total impunity for all these cabinet heads who did nothing but lie during their confirmation hearings. And totally disgusting.
Good news!

So a possible swan song as it were.

Watched the Artemis take off and the great photos they sent of Earth. I'm a big space fan and enjoy all info and happenings going on.
Good riddance to Bondi but Blanche is probably worse.
