So being anti-racist is "divisive" because racism is a point of view we feel our military should be able to endorse without fear? Got it.

Re the Qatari gift: No need for any upgraded communications as long as everyone has Signal installed on their phones and the plane has WiFi that can connect to the Elon’s StarLink.

And yes, I’m reasonably serious. Our leaders there are just that pathological. Besides, everyone from whom secrets should be kept have an open pipeline from the White House as a practical matter.

As for the habeus corpus, I’d feel better if the Roberts court would lay down the law (so to speak) but I’m sure they won’t. And on the off chance they do anything responsible, there’d be the whole is of a refusal to comply from our beloved Fuhrer.

Boeing stopped

producing the 747 2 yrs

ago. With its recent

history of doors falling

off and missing parts,

flying at 30 thousand

feet and losing a door, or

the side of of the plane

and gee, there goes the

Orange yam. Never fear!

Starlink sats will save

him.😄

SCOTUS 6 needs to clean up their act.

Re: Qatari gold-plated 747 "gift"...why couldn't tRump just demand the aircraft on an as-is basis, and simply order Hegseth and the Air Force just sign off on the deal, maybe with minimalistic security upgrades? tRump wants his "flying palace, and by Jaysus no one will take it away from him.

I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!

Don’t you wish one would hear those words from Congress?

Another great collection of stories and links. I like your quote referencing the Air Force 1 boondoggle, "But in the end, the whole thing collapses under the weight of its own ridiculousness." I have an earlier quote by you pinned at the top of my BlueSky page. Its had lots of views and likes. This one could join it. I d like to make a bunch of comments on today's stories but don't want to hog the bandwidth save this- i always presumed it was only Congress that could suspend habeas corpus protections and that only in wartime. I know Lincoln tried to do it but I'm not sure he was actually allowed to do so. The radical Republicans always kept him on a tight leash. Of course our supine Senate seems more than willing to allow their god-king to do anything he likes including the interim appointments. If we can thank Trump for anything it is that he has stressed tested our Government and Constitution and found many things that need fixing. But at what great cost.

Just slap some paint on it, buy a few IPads that can be used to fly the plane and so he can watch his television. Include signal apps n all devices so they can communicate really securely too! Make sure to buy lots of gold spray paint cause Trump likes everything gold, like the Oval Office. He should be in his new air ride before Labor Day weekend! What could go wrong….we can only hope!
