Re Ed Martin: Serves as yet another reminder that none of Donny’s high level appointees were picked for brains or, for that matter, sanity.

Re Smartmatic: I’m so old that I remember that when e-voting first became viable, it was Republicans pushing it and libs who were concerned. The concern was relatively easy hacking and the lack of a paper trail as it were to double check the counts. (Yes, I know the old time eternal problem with paper ballots.) Safe to say that what libs saw as bugs, Republicans saw as features. We should know from Bush v Gore that the GOP is not the party of true democracy.

Re Bondi and the others and threats against them: I assume that the threats are legitimate and not just claimed by Bondi et al. I mean, being housed on military bases sounds like a grift to me…

Whoa, David...beat me to it in flagging the latest item in the ongoing saga of MM's fav jerk-off and trump heavy, Ed Martin. At least somebody is coming after ol' Ed for his multiple transgressions, but I seriously doubt if it's the last we hear from the guy.

Another legal eagle, imported from Missouri! Why, you ask? Because Missouri is a hot bed of GOP flunkies. They pack almost all state offices for the short terms. Then they’re catapulted to Congressional offices. It’s why both Senators have Rs after their names. ITS why Reps in the House is a skewed GOP majority 7-1!

The dark money supports them the likes of Sinquefield, Board members of SLSO and SLAM. Another comment tells a truth. With Bush v Gore, we got proof the GOP is not the party of true democracy.

The public has 30 days to file a comment on the federal register regarding the justice department’s new rule elevating their ability to review bar complaints before the states have a chance to do so. I found out about this on the main justice podcast. Link to the federal register is in the show notes
