As we may have noticed, I’m a hardcore pessimist. Despite that, I’ll note the recent news that the EU is putting on ice a pending trade deal with our exceptional nation over our infantile POTUS’ hissy fit 15% global tariffs. Hopeful it’s a sign that they really understand they need to wean themselves of their connections with the US. I’m not going to bet that what needs to be done will be done but that said, it’s a sign of hope.
As for district court judges, or rather the serious ones not committed to being a Trump and/or GOP puppet, maybe the time has coming (or is coming, can’t tell from the post) to take judicial notice of how the Trump/Bondi lawless DOJ rolls. Can save a lot of time when time matters…
