As duly noted, not only did Ka$h Patel threaten to sue The Atlantic, this morning he filed a $250 mil damage suit against the magazine in a DC court...doubt if The Atlantic will settle out of court.
Also, amidst billions of $ in corrupt dealings by the trump Crime Family, his "presidential liberry" has to be the most glaring and nontransparent. I mean, these payoffs/shakedowns that trump received from a variety of corporations, businesses, and some individuals were quickly accepted, followed by a terse announcement that trump had "turned the money over" to what was gullibly termed "The trump Presidential Library Fund"...this so-called "non-profit" was dissolved last year for failure to file an annual report, and later succeeded by something called the "Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation", of which little is known, including the fate of hundreds of millions of dollars "donated" to the now-dissolved Library Fund. No points given for correctly guessing in whose pockets those monies are now secreted.
Kash’s lawsuit isn’t about money, it’s about challenging the “actual malice” standard in NY Times v. Sullivan for defamation lawsuits involving a public figure. At some point, almost certainly pretrial, the court will toss Kash’s suit because his evidence, even if true, won’t meet the NY Times standard. At that point, he can begin appealing, with the Supreme Court being his eventual target.
On Rumeysa Ozturk: The government's position was that "Attending elite colleges and universities in the United States is a privilege afforded to foreign students who respect our values and follow our laws,” Apparently the government has forgotten that the First Amendment is pretty entrenched in our values and laws. All she did was write an op-ed.
And today trump fired — or allowed to "resign" — his abysmally foul SecLabor, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, the center of several sordid scandals, and even joined by hubby in his own disreputable behavior.

Kash Patel may find himself in rehab or a new job.
How can anyone be surprised by Trump's grift, graft and theft on so many levels? His son's are as bad. He knows he's a done deal
and will need bundles of $ to support all in the manner they're accustomed to.
And today trump fired — or allowed to "resign" — his abysmally foul SecLabor, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, the center of several sordid scandals, and even joined by hubby in his own disreputable behavior.
All together now: "ONLY THE BEST PEOPLE!"
