As a Jew who is deeply disturbed by Israel's actions against the Palestinians, I do not appreciate Trump’s using antisemitism as a pretext for deporting anyone on the basis of his or her support for the Palestinian cause. Not in my name.

I saw that video. Utterly repulsive. She is a terrible person and unfit to hold any office

She apparently finds cruelty towards others very rewarding. What an unsavory bitch.

Another deportation snatch off the streets, another federal judge's order ignored, another day's assault on people's rights, and yet another day in displays of rank lawlessness and contempt for the courts. DHS roundups are happening at a rate that lawsuits and court actions can't match, and so the damages are done one way or another, as intended, by design.

My eyes could not believe what they saw when they showed just a small part of this on my local news this morning. NONE of this is what this country is about & I couldn't help but burst into tears, this is intensely hurtful propaganda. I am not a bible thumper by any means, but my first thought was that in some way, shape or form Kristi Noem has brought the wrath of God down upon herself now. Even if she never is held accountable on this earth (although I do believe she will be) someday the ultimate authority will require an answer, to which she will have none and then she will FOREVER be in an El Salvadorian prison, of her own making. Amen!

If I believed in prayer that would be one of mine!

The American tax payers are paying for these people to be rounded up with no due process, shipped to and imprisoned in El Salvador, and sending Kristi Noem there to film this graphic violence.

Dog murderer Noem has no conscience.

She is completely disgusting.

What they are doing in El Salvador is illegal.

There was no due process.

You have to prove someone did a crime.

You cannot just say they did, and lock them up.

Picture a mafia gang leader terrorizing a community.

Likeliest thing by far to block him is of course the criminal Justice systems — cops and prosecutors acting to take him and his thugs.

Now, when those cops and prosecutors get neutralized by corrupting by the gang leader, the latter obviously gets license to do everything he wants.

And that’s what we have on the national level — and soon on the national level when Trump steals the Panama Canal Zone and Greenland— because mobsters don’t enter into good faith purchase agreements — they steal. (Similarly the end of Russia’s unjustifiable invasion of Ukraine.)

Time to acknowledge reality…

Wait... we've sent the ambassador from South Africa packing and now we're going to nominate a pro-aparthied individual as ambassador? IF he gets through Senate confirmation, I hope to hell South Africa rejects his credentials and sends him packing in turn.b

"Noem was photographed and filmed in front of jail cells packed with shaved-headed Venezuelan detainees. "

That's "alleged" detainees; we have no idea who those people are, as they were denied due process.

They are alleged gang members, who received no due process; but they are actually detainees. They are being detained illegally.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Kristi Noem video. I didn't watch and barely skimmed the report, but I did look at the photos, and I saw something very disturbing. Haven't put my finger on it yet, but I will, and I will write about it because this woman may be fetching on the outside, but inside, there is a revenge killer. Killing her dog for entrance into the Trumpian circle was just the beginning. There is something about how confidently she stands before the "assembled detainee props," as though her very presence is a magic wand. When revenge power through cruelty comes disguised as female beauty, it's chilling and dangerous for all women. It shows a psychology of desperation.
