It might be a bit of a reach, but it does open up everybody involved, all the way to the top, to impeachment, and/or arrest and trial in the future. Yeah, fantasy-land thinking at this time and with this SCOTUS, especially while the GOP controls all Branches and the DoJ. Still, this adds to the mountain of unlawful sin they're already carrying and have been since Day One of Trump One, up through the extradudicial boat executions and the violation of Venezuela. If the nation is to survive, if the Constitution is to continue to form the basis of American law and government, they must be held accountable, each and every one of them, as soon as possible - possibly 2029 - even if the only lever to apply is conspiracy. And we need to find a way to manage to survive until then.
This is the most important task of self-preservation America has had since the War of 1812. Each and every possibility has to be considered, and used. We cannot afford to waver on it.
