"I eagerly await Novak’s response" like it makes any difference. the only thing that will effect change is when these judges stop bloviating and start putting people in jail.
To me, the most notable aspects of the ICE/CBP reign of terror in MPLS and other Minnesota cities is what are apparently belated legal responses by city and state officials. I mean, in Illinois, Gov. Pritzker and Chicago mayor Johnson went after Bovino and his rampaging rabble soon after they attempted a takeover of city streets, and ultimately into the courtroom of federal judge Sara Ellis, who has done a heroic effort in calling the thuggery to account.
If anything, the conduct of the fed squadristi in MN is an order of magnitude worse than seen in IL, and finally, law suits are being filed for injunctive relief. But, meanwhile, the carnage continues, as "door-to-door" tactics — spurned on by Hillbilly and others in the VP office — have considerably upped the anti on 4th Amendment pillage and desecration by these hoodlums in uniform, where NO *judicial* warrants are issued, and only in a very few cases are even worthless *administrative* warrants presented to justify house-breaking.
Oh, and Gov. Walz said a week or so ago that he's "alerting" the MN National Guard for "stand-by duty"...OK, so where are they? Minneapolis cops aren 't or can't protecting the citizenry, for god's sake, so WHO WILL?
I just shared this newsletter with my family. It is always so informative, and my family likes to keep informed. For instance, I learned in this newsletter today about the mass resignations at the DOJ. TPM is one of the handful of Substack sites I subscribe to, along with the Bulwark, Charlie Sykes' newsletter, Heather Cox Richardson's Letters from an American, and a couple of others.
Thank you for this very thorough review of what’s happening in the news. As always.
Love this arrival in my mail every time. Thank you.
MAGA is unraveling fast…not a time for the timid…keep fighting and be prepared.

Well, the judge can just keep throwing Halligan out of his courtroom, until DOJ finally gets it. No way will he bend to DOJ whining.
I guess. but it doesn't seem likely that DOJ will ever get it. we'll see.
Thank you David. Unvarnished news.
