I don't understand why many of these people are still in "jail." No arrest warrant, no legitimate criminality. One woman arrested for writing a paper? Others for speaking out? Are there laws on the books for that stuff? Why are they still incarcerated??? These kidnappings are making me feel ill, and the slow wheels of justice, given the serious matter, are incredibly frustrating.

Trump and Co. are freaking out because the GOP budget will destroy Medicaid, child care, health research, education grants, etc. in order to give tax cuts for the top 5 percent and add 7 trillion to the debt to be paid for by middle and low income taxpayers! Democrats need to denounce this travesty of greed and retake the House and Senate in 2026 with a New New Deal aimed at the GOP thieves.
