Just to go off brand, I’ll note that what the Hartman kids are saying and doing all itself shows more class than the GOP — politicians, voters and special interests combined. Of course, per the rule that with those people, every accusation is an admission, they’re *all* vermin.

As for the top piece in today’s post: I’d love every poll and survey that finds any erosion in support for Donny or disagreement with a policy or whatever to ask respondents whether they’d be changing their votes as a result. Because I’ll believe significant changes when I see it instead of libs getting all excited by something of a mirage.

Also need to note the results of the D primary in NYC. Whatever happens in November, the way forward starts with a shit ton of progressives and lefties running for office. The alternative to that is ceding power which, you know, the stupidity of which should be obvious.

The DNC, "power brokers", the Dem PMC donors, all of them are stroking out because of the yuuuge win by Zohran Mamdani over the heretofore fav, the sex predator and disgraced Andrew Cuomo. I mean, this is how low the Party has gone in its quest to rebadge with a "centrist" face, as if a POS like 67yr-old Cuomo can win over prime demographics the Party lost last November.

No bets on whether the Mamdani win changes the party line.

The thing is that the further one goes from the national party to the state then local level, the more things change. That is, the less it’s a corporate party such that an AOC or Mamdani can run and even be elected.

And that’s gotta be the focus. Attacking the underbelly of the national corporate party. That’s where change will come. 2021-22 should make it clear that the national party has serious limits with doing anything good beyond crumbs of extremely limited lasting value.

And whether or not Mamdani wins in November, that has to be the lesson from Tuesday night — and it is or should be an actual big fucking deal. It is the way.

Louisiana Sen. Cassidy is having buyer's remorse NOW on his vote to confirm Ratfuck, Jr as HHS head? Cassidy knew the story on Jr going into the confirmation hearings, knew he had crackpot "medical" theories, and had it in for vaccines OF ALL TYPES! So, Cassidy is whining that "assurances" were broken, yadda-yadda...oh, please, dude, you had the receipts and you capitulated to tRump rather than the respect of science, as here we are. Jaysus, these people piss me off!

why not? Clearly not being an ethical lawyer is no bar; if that isn't, why should lack of a law degree matter?

That's great that "big balls" is apparently out of the government. What is the status of the hoard of personal data on millions of Americans that he helped DOGGY accumulate?
