My disgust for this regime, knows no bounds, for it has taken the nation's agencies, established with good intentions, and made it ALL EVIL. I'm a baby boomer, college educated, interested in WWII -- knowledgeable of most of its aspects --yet, I needed to see how Merriam Webster defined GESTAPO [my emphasis] -- the definition* -- reassured me I can apply it here -- DHS = GESTAPO.*

I suggest that any one who is "requested" by ICE to sign that critics document to write on it: "This is utter bull pucky, and the First Amendment protects this very statement as well as everything else I have said regarding ICE policies."
There is a really simple solution to ICE's "fear" of doxing. Just don't behave like a thug; if you actually are dealing with a target where you have probable cause, and show compassion nonetheless. the only "doxing" you are likely to get is praise. If you feel you must be a thug, have the courage to accept the consequences.
Fine, I’ll call it now while hoping I’m wrong: Dissident will be criminalized by the end of the year, definitely by the end of 2027.
By that I mean less by statute than by dissidents getting dragged through the criminal justice system.
Obviously, there’d be a chilling effect, but the other thing, maybe a bigger thing, is making our POTUS happy to act like the bully he is at his core.
And, of course, the Democrats, will do far too little to matter… Maybe their criticism of Trump and his party needs to be a little stronger, maybe even fact- and reality-based…

I was thinking, cross out "may be" and write in "is NOT". Simpler.
