The deliberate sending of ill-prepared attorneys to appear before judges is literally contempt of court and an intentional insult. These appearances should be censured by the judge and if repeated often enough should be grounds for disbarment for the lawyers in question.
Mandatory periodic reminder: the Robert’s court has been attacking, disregarding and/or perverting the constitution for a long time, even before Trump 1.0. With essentially no concern from the Democrats I might add.
Meanwhile, with all these adverse decisions from courts:
None are doing anything re enforcing compliance and all are subject to reversal by the Robert’s court which has, if anything, incited the administration’s behavior.
Has there really been "no concern from the Democrats" - or is that none catches the attention of the corporate news media? Two completely different animals.
There seems to be an ongoing assumption that the news media fairly covers both sides of issues. - and that Democratic voices in opposition are widely covered. I submit that is false.
If you didn't hear something on your favorite media outlet, I would submit that it's not because it didn't happen - but rather that, fir whatever reason, that it wasn't covered.
There absolutely has been no meaningful action from the Democrats.

Or I should say, the meaningful action from the national party has been to become an alt-Republican party that does as possible in order not to alienate major contributors and, in the process, alienate voters,
But, there is this: CJ Roberts issued - for him - a strongly worded statement denouncing talk of "judge-impeaching" as an assault on the integrity of the judicial system, and I'm betting that he and Justice ACB will join to form a 5-4 Court majority deciding against most if not all of the Elno/tRump traducing of the laws and the Constitution...just saying.
Maybe a dialing-back of "official-duties" immunities.
Gaming how the Roberts court will respond to what they encouraged (to a questionable degree) is interesting.
But given what Trump's done and is doing overlaps hugely with long time GOP goals and the only problem is how he's done it, I'm not sure that there's a majority at SCOTUS that has much of a problem.
And even if they have problems, it still doesn't result in any way with the kind of opposition party that's needed presuming it's not too late for any oppo party...

One tiny ray of hope is that the "investigations" that these idiots in the Trump DOJ are going to engage in will expose the conspiracy theories for what they really are, fabricated pure bullshit. I think many of them actually think that stuff was real, so it should be entertaining.
Question: can we organize a recall for the president like people did in California wanting to recall Gavin Newsom? He was recalled twice. If impeachment is off the table how about a recall effort?
