Stephen Miller: Self-hating Jew goes full fascist. Marvelous, what could possibly go wrong with this perfect fit for Agent Orange?

I don't know about self-hating, but he sure hates brown people. He chooses to ignore his family history of grandparents emigrating to the US to escape anti-Jewish pogroms in Imperial Russia, and arriving unable to speak English.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Glad to see that this fascist propagandist and dirty trickster is in hell with Reagan and Nixon and Goldwater and Kissinger.

“Donald Trump is often presented as an anomaly breaking from the stolid conservatism of Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. Ledeen’s career shows that no such break has occurred. The roots of the current authoritarianism are deep within the recent history of the GOP.”

Krisi Noem, never met an immigrant she did not hate.

I wonder where her family immigrated from to the US?

It is horrifying to watch "lawyers" like Todd Blanche luxuriate in their ability to simply ignore inconvenient laws and to enforce other laws in ways that are at odds with their meaning. I spent 43 years practicing law and being subject to its often stifling strictures, but it never occurred to me to desire a system where I could simply assign whatever meaning to a given law that happened to serve my client's interests. I suppose, in contrast, Blanche and his ilk writhed for years under the oppression of having to take the law seriously. Free at last! Free at last!

NBC report on trying to find candidates for the SecDef office mentions the WH providing "help" for Hegseth to do his job...which of course raises the obvious question: Why is he still holding down the position if other people are needed to support/carry out his job description and functions? There are the clearly apparent answers, but is the risk of keeping a grossly incompetent yes-man in such a critical office worth the trade-off? tRump certainly thinks so, and that seems to be all that matters.

Trump has come up with his best distraction yet. Shooting rubber bullets at car burning young Hispanics in the streets of LA. Who's gonna pay attention to the Big Ugly Bill while this is going on?

Stephen Miller is

definitely a cuck. He

would love boxcars filled

with anyone who doesn't

fit his, Mango a Lardos

and Vought's

parameters of pure

white top to bottom,

squeaky clean

humanoid. Ought to do

some DNA testing of this

crew.

David, I love TPM and

MM and hate to be a

broken record BUT, the

WSJ, NYT, WaPo and a

couple of other articles

you reference and push

us to read? They're

behind PAYWALLS and

because of perhaps

impending financial

doom; BBB; tariffs;

inflation, lots of us are

not paying out more $.

“With unclear rules of engagement for the military and a vague, open-ended mission, it’s not clear what the path to deescalation might be – or if that’s even the plan” is irrelevant to violent bullying which, at its core, this is.

Thinking there’s more to it than mindless violence builds up these scumbags.

And Miller is still a cuck.

Excellent link to the Liza Goitein thread, where she lays out clearly the scope of tRump's NG order to include any ICE protests ANYWHERE that "are likely to occur", a clear case of shows of force way, way beyond any Title 10 stipulations. "Preemptive use"...hmm, wonder what the courts have to say about that?

Only one court matters. And I guess they will say what they are paid to say.

In all the Miller rantings about Home Depot and the streets of DC, where do warrants fit in? Don't even administrative warrants have to name individuals, or can they be in general for "brown skinned folk in a Home Depot Parking Lot?" I can see it if they are breaking into a car or something, but just standing there? Doesn't ICE at least have to have probable cause? Can that cause be "standing in a Home Depot Parking Lot?"

BTW, for one of the most outdated archived .gov posts, try:

And THAT was during trmp1.0

De-escalation never was, nor is, a goal/consideration. The premise: cruelty works; cruelty wins. Until it comes for thee, and then it's too late. MLK Jr was right: it's the "good" people who look away and thereby make this possible, or a done deal. And, if Ms are hungry, sick, unsheltered, uninformed, and unprotected -- T-h-a-t makes it very difficult to resist, successfully. This is 1-size-fits-all.
