Any time you see Trump

and Kushner's names

tacked onto any "peace"

deal in the mid east, you

know it involves the

Saudis, a land deal and

big bucks. Bessent is in

3rd place. Thankfully, no

NOBEL peace prize for

Trump. It's going to rub

his buttsky raw it went

to an Hispanic

Venezuelan woman.

25 years!

Congratulations David

and all at TPM. Here's to

another 25.

Re that magistrate/district judge fandango in DC: That’s what happened with the Mar-A-Lego case. A magistrate in the district in which Mar-A-Lago’s actually located issued a ruling that Trump didn’t like. Instead of appealing it to the district judge under whom the magistrate was working, the Don’s people went outside the district and the case was assigned to Aileen Cannon.

Why Biden’s DOJ was cool with that (or with a proven national security risk running for office again) is one of those mysteries re which I have no expectation of hearing a solution.

But in that perverse way, then, the attempted switcheroo in DC has precedent. (Not a defense of any kind.)

And while in old fart mode, maybe I’ll add that Republican zero tolerance for dissent goes back at least to Nixon. And I’ll add to that that in an administration made up of exclusively the unfit and the pathological, “Cuck” Miller is special in the insanity.

It’s not just the fascism, it’s the insanity in addition to it.

Yes. They are deeply, sadistically pathological. Homicidal, paranoid psychopaths.

Most amazing of all maybe is that what you said is pretty much hyperbole-free. It’s all true.

K. I have to go now to figure out how born woman—that is people who don’t have their penises circumcised—manage to be autistic. I guess RFK Jr will redefine autism as something only people with circumcised penises get or *can* get.

Stephen Miller was not elected into office. His appointment did not have to pass the Senate. It looks like he is responsible for four boats blown out of the water outside of Venezuela without due diligence. Indicte that man! Litigate him and put him in jail!

Google AI - According to reports from late September 2025, Stephen Miller, who serves as deputy White House chief of staff and homeland security adviser, has been directing U.S. strikes on suspected Venezuelan drug boats. His role has drawn scrutiny, with some noting that he has at times exerted more control over the operations than Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Which “violent incidents” are they citing? I have been to tons of rallies this year organized loosely by Indivisible and have yet to see any hint of violence, save MAGAs driving by and giving the finger. It is all so creepy. Timothy Snyder has a wonderful video out on his Substack this morning about the “roundtable” and the Weimar Republic. Recommended watching.

✍️ Elbows UP! 🚢👦🗞️🧓

I hear that your current president has published a Bible. But, why stop there? Why did he not open a church? A Church for the complainer - the Church of the Grump.

Sour grapes, I normally would have said. Or, maybe that should be a lemon. By the way, Clemens is my name. But, I go by many. Most of you know me as Mark Twain. My wife knows me as the Lazy Buffoon. She's also a complainer. But, I love her very - sort of.

I would think the pulpit should have been a natural stump for Trump, as this church's head Grump. He could have herded masses of Grumps following like sheep - for slaughter or laughter, I'm not sure.

I can't imagine a religion more suited to the complainer, than one where humility is optional and forgiveness is reserved for only those who are politically pardoned.

Trump is a great man of such embraces.

Trump the Great reaches out to all men, and draws them close to his bosom - unless, of course, they really are men. In that case, I need not worry because of the immunity imparted upon me at birth by God. Trump, as you know, got his from a judge.

With one notable exception, that of Mr. Epstein. His kinship was apparently worth the risk of proximity to Trump. They cuddled together all the time, I understand! And, look where that got him - at the dump!

I, on the other hand, have returned from a perfect burial. Not by séance, or by Ouija board, but by the miracle of academic nostalgia.

I had asked some of my work not be published until a hundred years after my death. By then, anybody I wrote badly about should have passed on. I was curious what became of it, and if my wishes had ever been honored.

Ladies and gentlemen, I discovered your internet - a vast bazaar of brilliance and comedy. Especially in the whitehouse. There is material there for a satirist that can last a lifetime.

But, I also came across the Berkley Project's Unpublished Works of Mark Twain. I opened it with some apprehension:

https://www.marktwainproject.org/letters/

Every single entry I clicked on afterwards showed "This letter is not published" - accompanied with a blank page. Now, THATS what I REALLY like! Who said bureaucracy could not be your friend? Certainly not Trump.

Your century is a marvel. Your politics, a circus. Your world, a casualty. And, I will still be watching it all with interest.

Thank you - MT

Meanwhile, apropos the Miller interview: Good as it is, it doesn’t answer my question which, to be fair, I haven’t seen addressed anywhere. That is: The 20 points of the Trump plans makes Gaza a Bantustan again, as it was twenty-odd years ago. The only difference is that instead of Israeli occupation it would be occupation by a consortium of Arab and states and likely us. I don’t see that as the kind of thing that would get the Don a Nobel (or Noble) Peace Prize but time will tell on that.

Of course, maybe Miriam Adelson and/or other RWNJ zillionaires can create a special prize for Donny so he can feel good about himself—a literal consolation prize with which to console him.

As soon as the disgraced and despicable former Bush poodle Tony Blair's name came up, one just knew how fucked-up this so-called "20-point peace agreement" could become. Add in "property developers" Kushner and Witkoff to the mix, and here comes the "Gaza Riviera" train down the tracks...FEH!

What I more or less said: it’s a surrender to the pre-Hamas days, and occupied state. Meanwhile, the West Bank will be getting formally annexed.

As for Blair, a Clinton-class piece of shit. 🤮
