The two quotes of the day are instructive. We can’t turn the page without removing the asterisk. Merrick Garland already tried that. And, I’m afraid that tragedies of disease will be the only way that our complacent society does either. When it’s realized how damaged we’ve been by quackery, only then will MAGAs be properly dealt with.

Also, let's not let off the hook that shite admiral who allegedly passed on the kill command from upstairs to his officers to incinerate the shipwrecked survivors.

Names hopefully taken, and the next administration after the tRump Crime Family are at long last banished will have a full plate of miscreants to call to account.

"Hang 'em high!"

"In most cases, the Trump administration does not know the identities of the more than 80 people killed in its high sea strikes on alleged drug-smuggling boats.."

In ALL cases, the Trump administration does not CARE ABOUT the identities of the more than 80 people killed in its high sea strikes on alleged drug-smuggling boats..

Bondi et al are shielding Bove — he of "fuck the judges" fame — and prolly Blanche for their rôles in obstruction of justice during the Boasberg hearings by serving up the rebarbative Noem, however justified she is in being prosecuted for a multitude of sins; but subverting Judge Boasberg's stop-the-flights-to-El-Salvador order was NOT her deal, let's be honest here.

The window dressing for striking the small fishing boat: eliminating drugs 'destined' for US. No window dressing, though, offered for pardoning the ex-president of Honduras convicted for trafficking a gobsmacking # of tons of coke that actually entered US. Where are Ds on this-???

Hegseth may be pardoned by Trump, which may be used as evidence for the ICC warrants when those participants travel beyond our borders. US won't have the clout to protect anyone from arrest and trial, and those who've told me US is not party to ICC, ICC don't give a damn.

Hegseth is a monstrosity and trump is his faithful servant and enabler. Death becomes them.

I dunno, a nation chooses as a leader a pathological monster who chose as mentors *only* criminals and now we’re supposed to be surprised that he acts exactly like what he is huh.

Well, times and said leader (I use the term loosely because I’m not sure how much it should apply to the aforesaid scumbag) are so crazy that this is not fully lacking in credibility:

And as for the DC shooting, this says it all:
