"When chief Judge Patrick J. Schiltz said last week that the Trump administration had violated 96 court orders in 78 cases since Jan. 1 in Minnesota alone, I first thought this was another Trump administration gambit to defy the judicial branch. "

Thanks for “Trump DOJ-NJ edition.” I’m an NJ resident truly disgusted & embarrassed with DOJ nutshell games with Habba, Fox and 3rd Circuit 🤡💩(fmr DOJ) Bove. I appreciate the links to referenced works👍- down the rabbit hole - reading excellent articles — supplements the news.

"Whenever President Trump puts on a performative display of hyper-aggressive dominance, Stephen Miller can be found lurking in the background egging him on, the WSJ documents.”

Well, DUH!

"...lurking...", as the proverbial snake-in-the-grass, but with apologies to actual snakes, but NOT to the human kind.

We have used the expression “shit storm.” This is more like a blizzard. ( Formerly lived in Minnesota.)

Is it likely that Judges will order detainees released en masse because their cases can't heard in a reasonable time?

The incompetents will just quickly appeal for a stay… and back and forth it will go to a SCOTUS that is blind to justice, and has endorsed as legal arresting humans with brown and black skin.

There’s no upside for our per sé ambitious elite in fighting Trump which essentially means opposing the GOP which, policy-wise they pretty much all support. That is, the big bucks sought are in supporting the establishment which means supporting the GOP—even the national Democrats as a rule have done it since Clinton. And, at the end of the day, Trump is just a cruder Republican who doesn’t believe in the rule of law and legality and norms impeding his efforts to implement Republican goals (when not lashing out like an infant).

It’s been clear for awhile that the establishment was going to save us from Trump… They’re as complicit in the shit we’re in as anyone.

So no need to study Bloch. We’re so decadent a society that our masters are fine with any abuses from the right wing—even sick people murdering people in the street or destroying free elections.

I can go on, of course, but you get the idea or not…
