Judge Cannon should be drawing attention for a lot more than her slow pace. The word salad she issued on having the attorneys give her competing definitions for the Presidential Records Act is just silly and wreaks of total and complete incompetence. She needs to be removed from this case and perhaps from the bench.

The trump brief puzzles me in its questions presented. Had Smith alleged that any of the acts were part of his official duties? And if the defense wants to argue that they WERE official duties, isn't it up to the trier of fact to make that decision? If so, why is this thing holding up the trial? Even a holding that yes, there was absolute immunity for official acts wouldn't give trump immunity on the issues in the case.

The court really should release the matter for trial even if it wants to take longer to ponder the "question presented."

Also helping tRump along, in the Fulton County courtroom of Judge Scott McAfee, he's now allowed an appeal of his decision allowing Fani Willis to remain as prosecutor by the defendants, to be directed to GA Court of Appeals...it just doesn't stop, does it?

David, today’s headline, at least IMO, was f***ing triggering. Hope I’m an outlier there 😵‍💫

As for today’s initial part of the post, it would be nice if the mainstream media would hammer those points home, but, nah, they’re not interested in.

But, BLOTUS’ ever more unhinged statements (it’s easy to forget he’s under an amount of pressure that huge even for him and it’s growing) that have to grow more unhinged because his supporters need stronger hits to the dopamine right there is a lot of the advertising the Dems need.

And as for that SCOTUS brief… I looked at it and am not all that sure whether the Question Presented is nuts or not. Gonna need Steve Vladek or Team Strict Scrutiny to tell me.
