I've been reading y'all since the beginning and fondly remember looking forward to Golden Duke Awards season the way others anticipate the Oscars, the Emmys and the Grammys.
Nice write-up of Judge Sooknanan's ruling on the Guatemalan children's attempted deportation by DHS...she learned from the Boasberg flouting by the tRump regime, as in be very skeptical of "presumption of regularity"...these people lie and defy as a life-style.
Also, in CA, Judge Charles Breyer announced his decision on the challenge to tRump's military deployment in L.A., ruling that it violated the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, but stayed it for 10 days to allow for the usual appeal to...well, Scotus. Wonder if that will affect the tRump move on Chicago.
SURELY, our Extreme Court justices can see what is being done in the lower courts! These examples of legality and constitutionality ought to be inspirational for them. I know that's a miracle beyond them🤮 ⚖️⚖️⚖️
A bit of good news. Lawdork reports this Wednesday morning: "On Tuesday evening, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, on a 2-1 vote, blocked removals from the Northern District of Texas under President Donald Trump’s Alien Enemies Act proclamation."
