Have to remember that word: illegalize. It’s going to be right up there with enshittification.

Making me aware this morning of the latest January 6 pardons only made the cave worse. But I did read Josh Marshall’s take on the cave. The Rs own the healthcare debacle even more than they did before, and it comes back in December for a baited, or dodging a vote. And in January when the debt ceiling needs raising. Hopefully able Dem messengers (few in the Senate, more in the House and Governors) will be loud and long. But, Schumer’s gotta go!

The only surprise with the J6/"rigged election" conspirators was that it took so long...that gang of tRump toadies should have been top of the list, right with the J6 crowd.

And in more inspiring news, Scotus denied the application by notorious anti-gay KY

county clerk Kim Davis to relitigate *Obergefell*, with not one of the Justices even commenting, including Thomas...hoo-fecking-ray for THAT nonstarter!

Like anyone paying attention and who takes the long view and stuff, the Senate Dems’ caving looks bad.

And yet, I’m not going to presume it’s bad electorally. Under the current environment, about all the national party can do is get elected.

So related to that, standing firm while the masses got ever more pissed at Trump and his party to point of what happened last Tuesday worked to the point where it’s not needed now.

So whether the caving was an electoral disaster that’ll lead to disaster next November, well, I can’t say that. There may be no downside to it next year.

Too, it can be claimed that the pain and suffering from the shutdown was ended by the Democrats.

So, you know, complicated.

Andrew Egger had this to say at the Bulwark this morning:

"(Trump) is willing to shoot the hostage, and the Democrats are not."

Keep that in mind if another shutdown is looming come January.

well, to start the funding they're going to start the House and maybe we will all be entranced by the Epstein files sooner rather than later. At least we have had ONE night where we could go to bed happy. Now we are back to waking up each morning looking for obituaries

I agree with this. It will be instructive to see how Moses Mike avoids the demand for the Epstein files or if Pam has finished burning them.

“from this round of pardons,” I like how you phrased it — I believe the First Felon (FFPOTUS) and con man “has something up his sleeve” for his own ‘earthly’ salvation. BUT he has no say for the after life 🔥🔥🔥💥

And Trump partied the

Florida. Surprised his

join in festivities. Did you

happen to see the

photos of the mega cars

lined up in Houston, TX

at a food bank? Ought to

do side by side photos

thousands of people in

our country are

spending their time

these days.

We've got to stop blaming tangeranus and start blaming MAGAT voters. This more than anyone is their fault.

Following on Professor Stanley's quote, my guess is that the shoot to kill orders to the 75k ICE arme will come next summer. In time to disrupt the 2026 elections.
