What the trump DOJ has done to "presumption of regularity" is hands-down the most destructive assault on courtroom integrity in living memory. Not even John Mitchell's DOJ, deep into Watergate, could come close to matching this mob's traducing of orderly legal procedures in federal district courts, and the damages done will take years of rebuilding trust between Art. III judges and the Executive Branch.
