Plenty of news, well summarized. Mueller’s passing reminds us of the treacherous obstruction of justice by William Barr. Mueller’s Report categorized Russian interference and the coverup of that interference. Merrick Garland had plenty to work with upon taking off e but left it on the shelf.
I’d add that Barr had plenty of help in his misrepresentations of the Report from the NYT and other corporate media. There was no journalistic push to use the details of the report to further investigate and indict.
Houseful of meaty legal news today, David, as the trump regime continuous to get scythed down by ever-aggressive judges...funny how destroying the centuries-old legal tradition of
"presumption of regularity" can redound poorly upon the perpetrators.
Also, thank you for citing the "Gold and Geopolitics" Substack, as I discovered it right after trump kicked off his "Epic FUBAR" military campaign against Iran, a daily must-read.
Thank you David for the update on Garcia. Liberia? I think DOJ attorney should do a stint there.
Robert Mueller did an excellent job! It is DOJ policy, which needs to change in the future, not to prosecute a sitting president. His report stated if they had found evidence Trump was "not guilty" of Russian collusion, they would have said so. They did not. Jack Smith ran up against this same DOJ problem.
Supposedly, Kushner & Witkoff again, are in diplomatic talks with Iran today. It's all about the oil and stock market.

Feels like a greasy slide from here. Thanks for the heads up and the distillation of the news. Thanks to for covering the wrongful deportations.

Ai-yi-yi....
Mueller owed us so much more than just shrugging his shoulders and walking away.
