Practically speaking, Trump can order the military to do anything and everything he wants. Whether legal, “legal”, against norms, whatever, the military’s likelier than not to obey. The likelihood of anyone making a legal case would be let’s say dubious. And were someone to bring a case (assuming, of course, a lack of standing isn’t a problem), then the odds of the Roberts court doing anything to frustrate Trump’s efforts are, please, they’d do nothing.

Short version: if he wants to pull shit with the military, no one will do anything about it.

When Dems retake the house

majority, Mikey Johnson can

go back to his bench in the

dark corner. 1/3/25 is when

the House changes majority

rule and Hakeem Jeffries will

be new Speaker. Even so, VP

Harris is still President of the

Senate on 1/6 and certifies

the Electoral Votes,

not Mikey Johnson.

LA has a bunch of reps that

should be scraped off our

shoes. Ugh!

US military has always leaned strongly "conservative", now translated into pro-tRump sentiment. I doubt if there would be much institutional pushback if tRump II used and abused the armed forces as his personal Praetorian Guard.
