Please everyone read Dr. Heather Cox Richardson's Letters from an American today. She gives us hope and inspiration using history. We have faced this before, and we the ordinary people have come together to face and defeat that threat with the power of our voice and our vote. And together we can prevail.

And why would you ever quote the NytImes /Sienna polls when you KNOW that they are methodically badly flawed?????

When Cohn has admitted they are adjusted to favor the Republicans????

When Trump’s CEILING is 47%?

When he has NEVER gotten more than that???

Please report reality.

Good stuff from Tim O'Brien: "The changing character and complexion of America creates friction — as it always has — but it is also the source of great energy and promise."

Yet again, close to the last time: Trump is 0 for 2 in the popular vote. In view of his acts and stuff since Election Day 2020, I cannot envision him winning it this time: gratuitous Covid killings leading up to that then baseless claims of fraud and, of course, J6. Please, no. Little faith and trust as I have in the exceptional American voter, I can’t accept (til I see it) that that many are that… whatever to give him a popular vote now.

And since it’s the day before, such hope as I can provide: again pending proof to the contrary, I think poll respondents have tended to have prior Trump voters feel compelled to espouse support for him despite intending to vote for Kamala while libs are too neurotic to be too enthusiastic to polltakers to express same. Then add the difficulty in getting people to actually respond to a poll and the juju needed to extrapolate from samples. Not to mention biases in the polltakers in order to give the clients what they want to see. Then add how all the incidental flaws and BS get regurgitated into poll aggregators(!) after which the media add their layer of BS. One might think - me for example — that this cycle of polls showing Trump so strong might just be a total crock.

We’ll see…
