"In announcing the attack, the U.S. Southern Command introduced new Orwellian language: “Applying total systemic friction on the cartels.”
The goddam US military is 100% complicit with trump's illegal actions...here in the Caribbean, and outright war crimes in the Iran operation. trump and Kegsbreath fired Southern Command head USN Adm. Alvin Holsey, who held out objections to murder on the high Seas, and replaced with Gen. Frank Donovan, who obviously is wholly on board with blowing up fishing boats and killing their occupants.
And in Iran, Central Command has taken charge — along with the Israeli Air Force — with blowing up girls' schools, gymnasiums, mosques, power plants, etc., etc.
You know, I anticipate the man who surrendered to the Taliban in 2020 and called it anything but, aided in the BS'ing by the establishment media, would pretty much do the same now, entering into something of a JPCOA 2.0 but now somewhat more favorable to Iran. A true art of the deal, except the art is maybe cubist, maybe abstract expressionist -- maybe a drip painting in shades of dark brown...
But there is a conflicting thought: How or why would Iran enter into any agreement with a counterparty 100% lacking in trust and when Israel, somehow even more untrustworthy than the US' leadership, has to be a party to same directly or otherwise? I mean, what can be offered to balance that untrustworthiness? (As a historical footnote, but not a defense of Trump: A functional democracy is based on good faith among the actors. The Republicans stopped engaging in such good faith -- became opposed to it -- ca early 1995. So in that respect, our scumbag POTUS is somewhat more a continuation than something new. As if.)
Speaking of whom: What keeps Donny from doing anything good re the economy or anything is his pathological inability to do anything good or just well outside of what personally self-enriches him or makes him feel good about himself. Of course, time will tell about the election... or any election...
Everything Trump does is motivated by self-interest, but he lacks the ability to see his self-interest through a "big picture" lens.
He recognizes "It's good for me if someone gives me a billion dollars to grant them a pardon" as being in his self-interest. Instant reward.
He failed to see "It's good for me if I help Americans survive this pandemic because preventing a million deaths will ensure that I get reelected" as being in his self-interest because it didn't immediately affect him in any direct way.
There’s the pathology. A normal narcissist or egotist can see that doing good can make them look good. Donny’s too defective and stupid and far too much a bully to do something good. He also can’t do anything well.
But we’re the only ones suffering… and given all the unfit POS we’ve elected and keep on electing, it might even be a just punishment albeit one we could do something about, at least theoretically…
And the icing on the cake with respect to the investigation into the boat attacks is that the Trump administration, bastion of subject-matter experts that it is (ahem), claims the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights lacks the competency to investigate.
The drug boat strikes seem so quaint and cute compared to failed regime change and a tankered world economy! Let’s start kinetic destruction of cartels again please 🙏 🤔😩😁🚙😛😭😄🙂👎😏🪁
Yes! Absolutely 💯% David. "It's the corruption stupid!"
Frankly, I think if Trump survives long enough to get impeached and indicted, his entire family should be deported to Saudi Arabia, Dubai and their other interests over there. After, of course, we have drained every single cent from any of their US holdings.
The rest of the regime should be locked up to await trial. Pardons be

Criminals the lot, in and out of uniform.
1984 knocking on your door 🚪
Never open our door to strangers...not in trump's Murka, at any rate.
Particularly valuable today: "It's the Corruption, Stupid".
