Hello, I am unaware of a five year visa program. We went through the Long Stay application process, spent three winter months to determine “bad” weather….not bad at all. Searched and found a place to buy. Went back to California, sold the big stuff and all 110v and are here for our oldest years.
Sometimes it’s said that the US healthcare system is broken, but that implies it was “better” at some time. So many poor choices made by US people everyday.
Thank you for that info. The five-year visa is different in some ways. It starts with a financial investment of some sort then after one five-year renewal period, it gives eligility for permanent residency. But at our age, that's irrelevant. The Long Stay is much better for us.
Any tips on replacing Medicare with private health insurance to qualify? BTW, we currently reside in San Diego.
in Copenhagen rent a motorscooter and get out into the surrounding areas for a day---actually it's light this time of year almost 24 hours so go anytime
