It’s simply obscene that this story is not above the fold in every last newspaper. Disgusting.

Given the last bit of that Universal Release by Blanche about "other agencies or departments" I'd say the coverage is at best ambiguous. I guess we will see if DOJ stops any investigations of any trump family or "affiliates." And an addendum signed by Todd in this matter is a weird way of defining "recusal." But of course, words are changing as fast as trump's mind; "cease" has ceased to mean "cease" when used in the phrase "cease fire."

LOVE that Projection over trump's mug

So much trash; so many creeps who belong in jail.

Will this be the final knife to the heart of our ever more fragile Democratic Republic?

FWIW, I cannot believe that that no prosecution deal or whatever between the mafia godfather wannabe and the IRS is binding past the second Trump is out of power (power, not office; there’s a difference).

Also can’t believe I’ll see a Democratic trifecta that will be willing *and able* to do anything about it — which would also require maybe SCOTUS reform. (OTOH, I’m not sure there are five votes to find the deal kosher.)

Meanwhile, everyone either power to deny, refuse or resist Trump are still not acting.

Mr. Blanche should think about retribution when we take over. Looking in my crystal ball, I see disbarment and a semi of judicial paperwork falling on him.

There are unaccredited, 'proprietary' law schools - right? wonder if there are maga law schools, too?

The language of the "Get-out-of-jail-free" one-pager is being misinterpreted by some media and commentators as confirming "lifetime immunity" from any tax audits or claims against the trump Criminal Family and trump organizations, but what it seemingly purports to state is any and all claims originating BEFORE the effective date of the publication of the addendum are hereby waived, but says nothing about any FUTURE claims or audits.

But, realistically, while trump is in office, the IRS will take a hard pass on trump's tax filings, and who's to say that he will even deign to file?
