At risk of stating what should be obvious, odds are that there’s much more in investigation files in connection with Epstein’s arrests 2008 and 2017 than reached the grand juries.

For the unfamiliar: Grand juries are easily manipulable because the only evidence the jurors get is what prosecutors deign to give them.

And I’d dare say that ca 2019, when that case was going to that grand jury, Trump was POTUS and his DOJ prosecutors mentioning his name to the grand jury… not likely.

And to go yet more obvious, who, besides Epstein (maybe) benefiting from Epstein’s sex trafficking, was kind of irrelevant.

So sure. The grand jury transcripts. Given the irrelevance, the likelihood of them being released aren’t good, less so relevant.

And having said that, I feel like a schmucks because all establishment reporting should what I just wrote as part of the framing in their reporting. That they don’t…

I'm afraid that any hard evidence concerning tRump and underage girls go, there likely is no there there, as over twenty years have passed since tRump and Epstein ended their friendship, and only incidental reports have surfaced, such as the "She's not here for you" story, and it ended at that point. Sure, the horn dog tRump leered at a young woman's legs, and sure, he busted into the women's changing room during his "Miss World" contest, but that's just more tRumpian lechery long ago excused by the electorate.

Any hope that the Epstein revival nets tRump are misplaced, and any other reports of sexual goings-on will be consigned to the "boys will be boys" file, and all those abused young women and girls will yet again be denied any restitution, while the high-flying elite abusers walk.

Donny and Epstein had a close relationship for ~10-15 years. Trump was a slut so odds are that he enjoyed Epstein’s sharing.

Too, where this gets relevant is with the MAGA pedophile obsession. If there’s documentation of Trump engaging with underage women, when he did so doesn’t matter.

Of course, the electoral benefits are mostly hopeful. Too, while there probably is no there there, the media can’t let go of this. Which might have some benefit.

Meanwhile, polling seems ambiguous. I read as Republican support is about the same. Whether there’s any shift with independents or the schmucks who switched to Trump in 2024, I don’t know.

I'll finish your last sentence for you, "..speaks volumes.". Establishment reporting is surprisingly uninformed and misleading at times. Whether deliberately or inadvertently so, is an open question depending on the integrity of both reporter and editor.

Deliberately so for big stuff, inadvertently lower down.

No justifiable reason not to make clear that grand jury transcripts are crap. Of course implicit with that the administration is lying. Noting that Trump is life long liar is forbidden as a rule when all reporting on his and his administration’s announcements would note that for framing and context.

As to deliberately: An uninformed or misinformed populace is a compliant populace. A nation of ignoramuses is good for business.

You've certainly got that right. They've been working to dumb us down for decades. Now it's working and we've got politicians, like MTG, who can get elected on the sheer strength of being ignoramuses.

MTG’s district is where “Deliverance” was set so that’s all the explanation I need for her and how she gets elected.

One bright note on a generally depressing Monday MM is that the notoriously unqualified Alina Habba is likely out the door as NJ US Attorney, so there's that. But, as we saw with the rebarbative Ed Martin, Habba will no doubt continue to fail upward in tRump's MAGAfied Washington.

Some good news but mostly bad in this mornings report. Villianous Rubio's ideology driven mismanagement of the State Department stands out as does the illustrious russian asset, Gabbard 's announcement of a new American Inquisition. I wonder if they will even go after deceased democrats? One can hope that during their periodic internicene spats they investigate each other. I'd buy popcorn to see that.

Why not report on the

if she wants to try to

As for Trump/Epstein?

By the time Patel and
