"Politico doing its duty to warn: Politico: Inside Trump’s potential second-term agenda, Politico: The prospect of a second Trump presidency has the intelligence community on edge"

VERY Important reading material. Set aside the time to read both Politico's articles referenced in today's Morning Memo.

Great historical context from the disasterous Trump 1.0 and great projection for a WWIII of an Administration if Trump 2.0 becomes a reality.

A MUST READ from David Kurtz.

Mary Trump is the best. Thank you for the morning memo.

How anyone can see Turley as a serious person is beyond me. Pretty much any idiot can matriculate law school.

Turley...[sigh]. Years ago he was involved in the legalize/decriminalize - weed movement, but since the tRump years, Turley has gone all-apologist and defender of the orange career criminal, especially during the two impeachment proceedings.

Mary Trump had the best rejoinder to Turley's latest Sancho Panza foray into "heritable criminality", whatever...rather answers well the "what has happened to Jonathan Turley?" question.

BTW, Nate Cohn at the NYT just won't give up hawking tRump's yuuge advantage over Nikki Haley...tRump having thrice underperformed the Times' own polling, Cohn sez "it's all about the delegate count already!", in a classic example of not seeing the forest for the trees. He simply cannot bring himself to flatly state that ca. 40% of Repub voters WANT SOMEBODY ELSE, and justs keeps banging on in typical horse-race fashion tRump v Haley matchup. Here, check him out, if you've never read his take before:

I have given up relying on the NYT for ANY decent, reliable news coverage. I maintain a subscription primarily for the other things it offers (recipes, crosswords, etc.).
