Robin Vos, who did more than any other single republican to put a thumb heavily on the scale for Wisconsin Republicans now isn’t good enough for Republicans? Delicious.

He hasn't "posted" a bond until it's approved by the judge. Right now it's just "proposed".

A minor factoid: Trump’s personal net worth is unknown and such a black box that it can’t be reliably estimated. One clue is that he got a NYS Starr payment some years ago. They were limited to people with limited wealth. Of course, what’s likely but was never confirmed (I think) was some tax fraud. But it also may be that on paper he’s worthless. (Yes. Joke but also not a joke.) Trump was sued individually in Carrollton if he has limited personal wealth, finding ~$9m for a bond, maybe even finding collateral, could have been a legit problem.

The bond for the tax fraud case should be just slightly more difficult. The prime defendant is TrumpOrg which should have an easier time buying a bond. I think?

As for Chubb, it’s a huge global insurer for the wealthier customers. Without some better proof, the Russian connection would appear to be a coincidence.

Now, if one wants weird messing around, there’s Kate’s photo.

Exceptional piece, I had Chubb life/health insurance year’s ago but would never imagine that they would be the ones to post this money laundering-career criminal poltroons bond! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I concur with!
