Kyle reports that Cheesehead, KENNETH CHESEBRO has been charge by the Wisconsin AG, Josh Paul with Felony Forgery. Also, charged are MIKE ROWAN a Trump Campaign operator & lawyer JIM TROUPIS. Chesebro has a habit of pleading out to lesser charges so Rowan & Troupis have serious problems.
Surely I'm not alone in wondering why "rigging trials" ONLY apply to tRump or other Repubs, but a contrived trial of Hunter Biden is hailed by GOP as "just and deserving". No voices asking to sack AG Garland over the latter, or denunciations of a "Crooked Joe Biden directed prosecution, yadda-yadda".
I mean, even for this idiotic lot of GOPers, the hypocrisy is of titanic magnitude.
Who cares about Hunter Biden? His problems are self inflicted, and he's not running for president. The outcome of his trial will have no effect on Biden's reelection campaign.
And he's AG Merrick Garland, who chose not to fire the prosecutor taking this case to trial.
Trigger warning for putting the following in some sort of context if one wants: I'm in a far pissier mood than normal.
"Take a propagandistic news outlet and pump it full of cash from overseas criminal scams that you laundered yourself...". Mandatory minor reminder that is exactly what the NRA did with Russian money in order to clean said foreign monies so they could be legally used on behalf of the Trump campaign in 2016.
As for Biden's statement re Trump: as David noted or maybe implied is a better word, candidates dissing each other is par. What Biden did is, or should be, a DOG BITES MAN story. Something like a sound and fury signifying, at the end of the day, nothing. In this case, maaayyybe I'd credit Biden for manifesting some concern. Still short of explaining and making clear the existential threat presented by the GOP and that above all, neoliberalism--with which the DNC has been cool since the days of Democrat Reagan-phobia or cowardice, not to mention plain old corruption.
What's actually required is honest reporting from mainstream sources. But, per history and heritage (but not self-promotion) that is not their job. As Dean Baquet put, putting one plus one together is on the audience not professional journalists. Makes no sense but that's the kind of BS that we (apparently) consent to be led by...
