I love my RI Senators, and Senator Whitehouse is a treasure. Fun fact: his campaign strategist was RIer Mike Donilon, whom also has been Joe Biden’s right hand man forever. He wisely said Biden would beat Trump on character alone.

You know, Senator Whitehouse is entirely correct, even if portrayed as cranky about the Gaspee, lol. But it does also go to show how effective branding captures the political zeitgeist. Dems today could learn from this.

Long ago and in my past, I was, unfortunately in the

position where I had to deal,

in person, with politicians both sides and both houses.

On the way to a senate office, I was informed that

anything goes in the senate

office bldgs; smoking, drinking; most likely even

murder. I guess this only

applies to the senators and

not their staff. 😉

I have the perfect solution to

Trump.

So Alito intoning "human life begins at conception" is not a political view of a religious group but "there is some danger of authoritarianism if we aren't careful" is. Stefanik whines again.
