In a bit of rare good news, SCOTUS, in a 5-4 decision, in effect supported a lower-court finding that required the government to pay $2bn in contractor payments from the Elno-crippled USAID...although the money involved was rather trivial compared to the tens of billions already subjected to court filings, the fact that CJ Roberts and J Coney Barrett joined the three-judge lib minority *may* augur a less-than wholehearted approval of Executive Branch trashing of heretofore Congress' constitutional areas of responsibility.

tRump may want to review his last-night's effusive "thank you" to Roberts if like decisions continue as all the lawsuits challenging "DOGE" wreckage of the Administrative State work their way up to SCOTUS. BTW, the four Court reactionaries sent out blistering dissents, and are having a massive sad over the majority's ruling.

I bet Chief Justice Roberts is

thrilled with the video and

audio of scum Trump

thanking him and telling him

he won't forget it. Yes, just

what you didn't ask for

Roberts, high priced egg all

over your bought and paid for

face.

Withdrawal of intelligence

from Ukraine makes me think

Starlink will no longer be of

help. Yes! Let's stab Ukraine

in the back some more.🤬

Thank you, Al Green.

4 corrupt Justices (other than Roberts) make it clear that there are no boundaries for Trumps behavior. Roberts will surely join them when he can but right now he’s trying to avoid being the Roger Brook Taney of the 21st century (and not succeeding). These are 9-0 decisions in a sane judicial landscape. We shouldn’t be holding our breath here.

Outwardly corrupt by any measure.

Condolences to David for today’s post. It’s a greater amount of insanity than any sane person should have to wade through.

A very minor criticism tho’. David references Trump as a mob boss. Trump is and always has been (among other things) a mob boss for all intents and purposes.

I favor "capo di tutti i capi", as tRump has styled himself as an orange-faced John Gotti.

I watched with the sound muted as body language is more significant. I knew something was up with Roberts at the conclusion when Trump tapped him on the chest. Thanks for the info, will Roberts now have to assert some independence, the jig is up.

Whenever Big Don was talking he was lying so why have to hear the low class mobbed up bs live in my home?

The shameless Republican herd looked like they were in Jonestown, grateful that he wasn’t handing out shots of KoolAid, particularly Vance and Johnson, who popped up on cue at an exhaustive rate.
