Kamala/Walz has Trump so addled he's writing Biden fanfic. Who reads that delusional, rambling, grammar-challenged rant and thinks "that's the guy we need in White House"?
How about a front page headline questioning this guy's mental health? (Now I'm the delusional one...)
Fantastic news round-up! So many things I might not see in other news feeds, and important ones at that. The comment on the need for a Senate investigation into the Egypt/felon45 situation… the undercover assassin plot(!)… you pick out essential news events that may get buried (if reported) elsewhere.
That SM post by tRump...what seriously is wrong with this man? Not the thoughts of someone tethered to reality, but those of one in the midst of a psychotic experience...SAD!
We're all political news junkies and nerds here so the obvious needs occasional repeating: most voters aren't us and are, let's say, failing in being informed. So feels can't be underestimated--forget ignored. For far too many voters, they matter. Calling Republicans weird sends the kind of simple message of a kind that gets through to that huge bloc. As an ancient person, I'm reasonably happy to see that we chose in the VP slot a nice, lib version of Spiro Agnew--someone who knows how to punch. Used to be the VP candidate's job; can't remember the last time the Dems ran anyone like that.
Meanwhile, Team Kamala's projecting happiness and joy and confidence, not necessarily in that order.
I'm about as pessimistic re how this plays out but goddam, we're running a race and we're finally hitting back. The end might not be happy but we've got a historic, exciting three months ahead.
Actually, I’m hopeful that a loss may leave the Democrats back as a true opposition party, a choice, not an echo to coin a phrase. Back to something like it was before Carter and Clinton thought it had to be an echo of the GOP, to be a bunch of Rockefeller Republicans.
Time will tell about everything.
Nothing I say, unless I’m in a funk and say otherwise, is to be taken as any sort of endorsement for conceding this race. If nothing else, I have some faith that Trump and the rest will just keep getting more and more weird and repellant right up to the election and enough voters will do the right thing. 🤞🏻
To me it feels like suddenly, POOF!, the Dems got their sh*t together and are taking charge. But in a way I couldn't have forseen. I guess that's life. Whatever, it's feeling good and I hope it lasts.
The DNC wasn’t all in for hitting back hard a/k/a responding with appropriate force since the late 80s or so. Slick Willy was all about a little talk, maybe, and otherwise trying to preempt the GOP by supporting Republican-like policies.
With Harris and Walz maaayybe a change is coming with a new generation.
Thank you, as always. Man, Trump really dwells in his own little tiny world in his head. It's quite fascinating, but much more disturbing and scary. What is that called when you make up stories like that about other people and what "they're going to do?" And why this fixation on Biden? I guess he was really undone by the transition to Harris but most everyone saw it coming. It's going to be an interesting 91 days! Will Trump continue to unravel?
We activists are told a D electoral landslide is a must as countervailing punch to R buffet of coming coup attempts, esp. post-11/5. Then, pundit chorus reverts to predicting, as though gospel, "close election". Then, we are told to work harder and feel joy. Now, less than 3 mo. from 11/5, a few are publicly pointing to [likely] specter of court-approved R electoral interference, and the presence of 6 on hack s ct primed for Bush v. Gore II. Activism does not change the hack s ct partisanship. "Omissions"/"failures to forewarn" of such are looking like a disservice to the faithful millions. The time has come.

Should have been done a long, long time ago.
I had to comment on that too. The guy is nuts.

Truly nuts! That piece really struck me too.

Try to think “Happy,” and let’s put our shoulders to the wheel.

Good lord. How much longer before Trump either gives himself a stroke or he loses his shit and is carried away by the white coats?
Wow to Tim Walz! He and Kamala will win!

If I understand you crectly, yes, we must be on guard. Simply "winning" is not the end goal, which is succeeding in winning and gaining the WH.
