Can we please dispense with the notion that Nate Silver has any credibility? His model applies to baseball apparently but he has pretty much been wrong about everything for years now.
If there was any doubt that I’m on the spectrum or at least seriously f***ed up it’s this: to me, Trump’s complete unfitness for any public office was as blatant as a punch in the face since at least 2015, probably earlier. It’s sad AF that ever his literally deadly handling of Covid (now up to ~900,000 gratuitous deaths) people and the media still have trouble grasping the subject.
Anyway. The Times poll: with the report is a link to the actual numbers and… there’s no single takeaway, not even David. To be clear, David’s is correct as a single fact but the poll can’t be reported as a single, standalone fact. It’s actually kind of weird and funky.
Trump's unfitness to be considered a member of the human race was shown when he was caught at age 10 throwing rocks at the toddler in the playpen next door. Nothing about him has changed since. It's too bad a jealous boyfriend didn't blow his fucking head off in Studio 54 50 years ago.
Yet the media’s done their best for decades to cover it up. If one wasn’t blessed by a Severe Asshole Detector and/or (foolishly, insanely) couldn’t believe that a completely unfit POS would run for office, the media would not inform and enlighten them. (Not referring to MAGAts but to good faith ignoramuses.)
The EMTALA case, as that of the mifepristone decision, rests upon *standing*, with the actual *merits* of plaintiffs' arguments left for another day, or challenge...and that day/challenge will come, but well after the 2024 elections, as the Slate writers noted.
"Profiles in Courage" NOT, at least for Barrett/Roberts/Kav wing.
When I worked for Willie Brown 50 years ago in Sacramento, I learned his philosophy of winning: let the polls remind you that there are monsters in the woods, but just run the campaign like you're ten points down and fighting, then you can pop the champagne after the only polls that matter close and the decision is announced.
Lol sparkling corruption. Great analogy.

I tucked it down in the bowels of MM for the benefit of those still keeping score ;)
Nate silver needs to stop. Just stop.
Along with the rest of the over-paid, under-intelligent, otherwise-unemployable trust fund babies of the National Press Corpse.

So far today, SCOTUS is 6-3
in the first 3 decisions and
they're not good. Nothing on
immunity yet.
Buckle up.
IGNORE THOSE POLLS!!!
