"DOJ threatens to prosecute state and local officials who refuse to enforce Trump’s hard-line anti-immigration policies."

So much for "conservative" bellowing about STATES' RIGHTS all these years huh?

I’m glad the judges spoke up about the J6 pardons and yet I feel like the information you provide starting with “Trump II Destruction Watch” should be its own post. This REALLY is the shit. God forbid you have a disease brought about by this toxifying country and need a knowledgable doctor. God forbid any of us, someday, might require some expertise arrived at by publicly funded medical research. That Science article set my hair on fire.

The Stasi menrality now becomes official govt, policy: narking on your "politically suspect" colleagues, turning in your college prof for "political" comments, creating dossiers on potential "enemies of the state", etc., etc.

Folks, the horrors of tRump 2.0 are being revealed, many in accordance with Project 2025, and the worst part of this is TRump TOLD US BEFOREHAND that he would embrace totalitarian precepts...and here we are, thrashing about in a living nightmare whose terrors increase daily.

Orwell would have been pleased...only 40 years off, but still...

So anybody who thinks Trump has done illegal things and tries to visit accountability upon him is "scum". Huh. What a crybaby--his skin is so fricking thin I'm surprised (very glad, but surprised nonetheless) we can't see his veins and arteries through it.

Pore iddle Twumpy; after he put this country through four years of his version of trumphell, I think the courts putting him through "four years of hell" (which is nonsense) is not even close to

the amount of pain he should be enduring,,, but gods forbid twumpy doesn't get to say the last words: iddle Twumpy demands even more wevenge--so here we go again.

The old norms are dead and new norms are being born.

And one of the first to have died is the idea of an opposition party that was a choice, not just a minor alternative of the other. A true choice, not an echo to coin a phrase.

Or maybe the idea of actual bipartisanship and compromise as opposed to what we’ve had since the early 90s: chickenshit submission by the Democrats to the Republicans who were even then forcing the nation on the road that’s brought us to this.

Too, I confess; I barely parsed today’s post. My stomach for the details of what’s happening is limited to say the least. I saw Trump as a subhuman monster who was incited to do his worst if returned to office, that the result of criminal and civil proceedings as well as the stain of his rejection in 2020. That he’s generally acting as I expected and that no one anywhere who can will act to stop any shit he pulls… well, as I said, I have a limited stomach for details and proof and stuff. It’s a bitch being Cassandra (but 🙏🏻 to 47 for changing my gender, I’m okay with it).
