tRump is daily providing fresh material for the Harris campaign, material that the corporate media is continuing to sanewash, despite the increasing untenable nature of their efforts, as tRump's headlong decline into a demented state continues relentlessly. Whether Harris' attacks gain traction, however, is another question, as both the media and the public have "priced in" his inanities, threats, vulgarities, and wildly discursive and nonsensical speech patterns in how tRump is generally perceived, so her singling out particularly egregious remarks may carry little weight.

Which in itself is one of the most telling aspects of this entire, miserable election cycle.

Barry Goldwater was the first representative of the "New Right" to run for office, and his "Choice not an echo" and the "Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice" line didn't sit well with the general public, particularly just a few years after the Cuban Missile Crisis. And he lost in a landslide, but move the erstwhile "Solid South" into the GOP column, where it has remained.

tRump, OTOH, has been spreading extremism for years already, people seem "comfortable" with his racism, authoritarianism, and recent descent into fascism, so I simply couldn't imagine a "blockbuster" ad such as "Daisy" could ever be created that would once and for all sink this fucker's sorry arse, full stop.
