Thinking of your excellent missed opportunity essay, and reading about Mexican citizens just electing a woman, climate scientist, atheist for president, with 60% of the vote, shows how bad is the political/ media system in USA…
Reading the framing of this news in AP, The Guardian and the NYT, the first impression is woman and Jewish, not woman, climate scientist and atheist.
Perhaps US media don’t want to us to notice that a vast majority of Mexicans selected a leader from a multi party system that allows better choices than the USA…
The Framing is the choice of the editors and media owners.
"Donald Trump is a liar, a cheat and a fraud who doesn’t care a wit about you, or anyone else but himself. He’s a convicted felon. Every time he faces consequences for his own actions he claims it’s someone else’s fault. Whenever he loses, the process is rigged against him. We all know that person. And we all know we can’t trust that person." That should be what every Democrat says at every opportunity up to and including the President. Can't anybody here play this game?
Li'l Mikey Johnson and his "good friends on SCOTUS", and how he "just knows" that they will do the right thing by tRump...Separation of Powers much, Mikey?
POS then sorta-kinda "walks back" those comments, but really didn't. And Hakeem Jeffreys and the Dem House leadership want to ensure this mook's continuing speakership? Gaaaaaah!
It's unfortunate that the simply fact of a fascistic party acting like fascists cannot be reported in the mainstream. Of course, that's SOP. Establishment media were cool with Mussolini, Hitler and Franco til circumstances required shifts in coverage, at least for the first two.
But as I regularly rant, the biases there only hurt us although, arguably it's maybe also starting to hurt the media owners as the audiences keep shrinking and the owners respond with a worse (untrustworthy) product.
It's always cute to see brown people think they matter to maggats. Ravaswamy Scott, and the rest of the coconuts would be herded into Treblinka 2.0 with the rest of the nonwhites
Joe Manchin was always the most conservative democratic member. He is still caucusing with the Democrats in the senate, which is the more important thing.
The Democrat's "response" to Trump's conviction is further proof that the only reason I support these idiots with their single strand of overcooked Angel Hair pasta for a backbone is because of who the opponent is. I left being a "professional Democrat" 44 years ago when I got to the point I couldn't stand the thought of my participation in putting the two people whose campaigns I was in as "professional assistance". Democrats, they never fail to disappoint.

Do I seriously have to be the first to say this? I can't believe NO Democrat has picked this up yet!
