And still in Pollyanna mode! Like with fPOTUS, Rs can complain about the party anti-abortion policies and proposals all they want, but it can’t be done electorally. That is, any R who supports to any degree backing away from can kiss their career away. It’s like increasing taxes on the wealthy; once a break’s given, it’s essentially impossible to take away.
Trump just wants to look in the mirror and see a guy who’s president. All he cares about is selfish, self-promotion. That’s the only philosophy he has, which makes him even more dangerous because he has actually said out loud it would be OK to terminate the Constitution to keep him in power. He said this. He actually said those words.
Within the year, American voters will show the door to Trump, the most unfit candidate and former president in history. This is the guy who awarded the Medal of Freedom to Scott Perry, and pardoned pals Stone, Flynn and Bannon, all deeply implicated in the concerted effort to overthrow the 2020 election and who turned the GOP/RNC into a monumental train wreck. No more WSJ polls, please, insights about Trump’s trials and proposed reign of terror are news enough. Happy Thanksgiving and speedy recovery for you and your family.
