David, super summary of CNN, NYT & the fact king, Hugo Lowell's reports on Margo Martin's tapes of tfg. What other incrimiating admissions did Margo record?

Garland is also a member of the Federalist Society, CEO

Leonard Leo. Perhaps it's a good thing Garland never made it to SCOTUS.

Another great Morning Memo. Keep them coming.

Thanks!

(Side note: I'm not aware of Garland being a member of the Federalist Society.)

I went to their membership website and scrolled through the pictures. Garland was there. I was really surprised.

I've seen him listed as a "contributor" on their site. He's probably appeared on panels or moderated events, but I'm almost positive he's not a member. Here's the disclaimer for on their contributors page:

"A person listed as a contributor has spoken or otherwise participated in Federalist Society events, publications, or multimedia presentations. A person's appearance on this list does not imply any other endorsement or relationship between the person and the Federalist Society. In most cases, the biographical information on a person's "contributor" page is provided directly by the person, and the Federalist Society does not edit or otherwise endorse that information. The Federalist Society takes no position on particular legal or public policy issues. All expressions of opinion by a contributor are those of the contributor."

A. Biden should've fired Wray on day one. He still should today. B. That said, Comer has no power to hold Wray in contempt. Only DOJ can bring that charge, and nothing in the law compels testimony. C. Good luck getting Garland to do that, or anything other than go after low level drug dealers, although, Garland is a Republican, so maybe?

I have criticized Prosecutors all my career fot not completing their homework. That is not not a problem with Jack Smith. Per Professor, ex-Prosecutor, Joyce Vance, Smith has the "Goldilocks" just "secret" document admission from tfg to go forward. Grand jury witnesses have already been questioned. A MAL Prosecution is likely before 6/30/23.

UPDATE: To decode Joyce Vance's use of the term "Goldilocks" : If a Prosecutor goes after a Perp on a simple document the Jury may read the prosection as "too cold". If a Prosecutor goes after a Perp on a grave nationall security matter, the Prosecution may be "too hot" & risk revelation of valuable sources & methods in Court.

However, prosecuting a "Secret" document may be just right". In this case the document in question, it was marked "Secret" & involved military matters in Iran. PS: You do not discuss these matters in an interview at a Golf Course in New Jersey, Bedminster.
