Lady Justice needs to rip off

her blind fold and take a good

look at what has happened to

the rule of law. Jack Smith

has done an excellent job of

Behind all the institutionalizing of the criminally-immune presidency looms SCOTUS, who indeed MUST take responsibility AND be held accountable for the Orange Felon's success in both eluding prosecution for indicted felonious acts, and leveraging that support into a winning presidential campaign.

The shame the Roberts Court has brought upon the now quaint concept of "the rule of law", and its corollary, "No man is above the law", will live in infamy for decades, until a newly-constituted SCOTUS can return the presidency to a law-abiding office, shorn of imagined and contrived "immunity" wholly absent from Art. II powers, and indeed absent entirely from the Constitution itself.

Reading yesterday's news, I am forced to recall Winston Churchill's October 5, 1938 speech in the House of Cpomons regarding the Munich Agreement; the words fit our present situation too well:

"I will begin by saying what everybody would like to ignore or forget but which must nevertheless be stated, namely, that we have sustained a total and unmitigated defeat... We are in the presence of a disaster of the first magnitude... Do not let us blind ourselves to that."

I will and would not EVER root for McConnell! His misguided need for power makes him responsible for the despicable president elect and our current and corrupt Supreme Court. He is democracy’s arsonist.

FFS, being above the law and unaccountable isn’t special to the Fuhrer.

I’m so old, I remember how Obama’s DOJ couldn’t find any individuals to speak of to hold accountable under the law in connection with the 2008 fraud-fueled financial collapse. And, of course, being above the law was an entitlement for our betters long before then.

As for restoring any constitutional order or whatever, much as it’s needed, it’s not going to happen. Find alternative ways to do good and make the world better. Relying on the federal government is not the way and, at the earliest, is at least a few decades away. One needs a dedicated opposition party for that and all we have is the alt-Republican DNC grifters…
