Just yesterday, I told my chiropractor that there are too many days now where I wish I wasn't so knowledgeable that I can see what is happening and understand what is going on. I really really never thought ever that it would be so easy to destroy this country and that so few of my fellow citizens would give a damn about it.
I feel that way too, TC. I fear I am becoming seriously depressed. This mess is always somewhere in my head at all times. My anxiety is turning to outright fear. The very thought that a majority of voters put this monster in office again is so very disturbing on all sorts of levels.
I applaud your approach to covering the incoming hellscape of the next administration. If even they managed to achieve a fraction of what they say they will do it will be horrendous. But I think they are also intentionally “flooding the zone” with threats meant to terrorize people into a state of overwhelm and paralysis. It’s intended to scare people so much that they obey in advance. Unfortunately it is working with many, including many in the press. Thank you for not falling for it.
Getting rid of the FDIC to insure deposits at banks is only something you do when you are trying to destroy the country from within. There is simply no other reason for it.
