While there are injunctions out there re the Treasury and some others, the problem is finding someone with standing to challenge ALL the Departments that can be invaded. The Union case TRO has already been denied for lack of standing. Looking at it, the judge (a Clinton appointee) was probably right. There was no individual plaintiff claiming that S/He had privacy rights invaded. I'm hoping the Union is in the process of finding one or more and refiling.
Not to be too on brand with the cynicism and stuff but no one actually familiar with Trump as opposed to the establishment media BS hagiographic version would not be surprised by any of the shit he’s been pulling.
As for DOJ, cant be said we weren’t warned.
That the nation we’re getting was freely chosen is a damning indictment of we the people. That to a large degree we were directed to do that by our masters is only a partial excuse. But no one was forced to make the choice they did. And to the extent anyone finds POTUS’ actions shocking or whatever, again, that’s on them.
Denial is a hell of a drug, willful denial more so.
EO 11246 which trump rescinded, about discrimination in federal contracting, was clearly aimed at minorities, but what it HELD is that there can be no discrimination on the basis of (inter alia) "race." Last I heard, White is considered a race. That's how the Civil Rights Act puts it, too. So are contractors and companies now free to refuse to hire White Men solely because they are white?
You know things are really really bad when it is comforting to learn that the way this is likely to go is more along the lines of "competitive authoritarianism" (Russia and Hungary) now than
"fascist dictatorships" (Italy and Germany) in the early 20th c. Oy vey.
Do I thank you for this feeling of sadness and nausea? Yes. Thank you for gathering all of this disturbing news.
"First they came for the Kennedy Center..."
Bet you a nickel there's a name change in that institutions future...
Easy. RFK Jr Center. Creates efficiency and avoids waste by not having to change the signs.
LOL
We need to pick our battles and I think the one to pick is to shut Musk down immediately.

Congratulations – you were mentioned again in Heather Cox Richardson’s Substack today! (https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/not-hyperbole-anymore-musk-is-in-charge-of-the-us-government)
Great piece, but it is a bit wordy to fit on the USA's tombstone when the end arrives.

What does it take to start impeachment proceedings?
What can the UN do about Ukraine?
someone files articles impeachment. The GOOP are already filing them against judges who DARED to thwart trump's will.
Good god, it’s not even been a month.
"EVERYTHING everywhere All at once"!!📢📢📢

Hegseth is a disgrace! Was
glad to see Germany, France,
Italy, Spain and Poland come
out jointly and say they had
Ukraine's back.
Disgusting photos of Musk in
Oval office holding a press
conference while dodo PINO
Trump stares vacantly
around.
Congress? What congress?
It's all red right now and they
are on a roll and could care
less.
PS: No Tesla cyber trucks
were ordered. It was an error.
not an error, just a procurement forecast--that's not an actual order.
